During Janet Yellen’s testimony to congress, a man in the audience held up a sign that said “Buy Bitcoin.”

The action of holding up a sign was picked up by all the news agencies and brought a lot of attention to Bitcoin. However, what most people don’t know is that the man who held up the Buy Bitcoin sign posted a different photo online after the TV appearance.

When the day was over, he had made over $11K USD in Bitcoin from people sending him BTC.

Not bad for a piece of paper with a scrawled sign…
